Use Maya tools to create rigs for characters, creatures, and/or props
Retargeting motion capture animation to custom rigs
A basic understanding of anatomy, geometry and animation
Use Python or Mel to write small scripts to expedite rig deliveries
Experience in Unity a plus
Experience in corrective sculpting
Work closely with animators to achieve engaging performances

About Studio Zubio
Studio Zubio’s artistic and technical directors, concept and character artists, modelers, riggers, and animators specialise in creating 3D characters and props with advanced facial and body rigging. Studio Zubio’ modelers are experts in anatomy and geometry, working primarily in ZBrush and Maya. Studio Zubio’s world class riggers and technical artists design and build character kinematics, animation controls, and deformation rigs (bone based / blendshape / whatever), topology, and shaders. Studio Zubio is experienced in post-rendered (Arnold / _) and real time game engine render systems including Unity, Unreal, Google ____, and __. Studio Zubio technical artists are experts in 3D-related mathematics, Maya Python/PyMEL/MEL, C++ API, PySide/PyQt.
